Ink Circles - RYO project

Here's a quick update on my current WIP - Ink Circles Yahoo group project, RYO (Roll Your Own).  Each stitcher can choose his or her own colours, or else pick from one of the lovely combinations already put together.  I put together these colours, under the heading 'English Country Garden', and I'm loving the way that it's coming together - although our garden is actually looking all shades of brown, as we've had no rain for weeks!

Deep Blue Sea - first update photo!

I decided to take a quick photo of Deep Blue Sea and post my progress to date - if I wait for the sun to shine/enough time/my camera batteries to be charged (this is on my phone) I will never get anything posted!!  I have done most of Part One, and some of Parts Two and Three.  No beads or crystals yet.  I do hope to do the beads more or less 'as I go', but the crystals will have to wait until the end - if I ever get there :)  Love working on this, though working over one on black (for the starfishes) in the evening (when I get most of my stitching time) is a bit of a challenge!

Oh dear - can't believe I haven't posted since last March!  I have done some stitching, but haven't found the time to post photos (to be honest, I haven't even taken photos!).  This is something that I've been meaning to stitch for ages - and it's too late for Christmas now anyway!  Youngest daughter Bridie has claimed it for her own!  You can click on the image for a better view.
