Here's my progress to date on two of my WIPs. Sea Stars by Ink Circles is the one on the left. The other one is a NEW WIP! I know that I really shouldn't have started anything else, but in The World of Cross Stitch magazine they have a chart leaflet of four designs by one of my favourites - John Clayton. I just had to start on this one - a glass vase with sunflowers, set against a window. Best free gift ever for me personally - I'd like to get all four of them done eventually :)Monday, 29 March 2010

A beautiful bookmark finish...
....and NOT by me, lol!
This one is my DD Teresa's first big finish - and it has taken her a year, but that's not as long as it's taken me to finish the one that I bought at the same time (Olympia last March). I'm so proud of her - she did it with practically no help - I did unpick a bit and restitched it when it went a little bit wrong at the end. I also helped her to do the beads on the 'V', and started her off sewing the ribbon on the back. But basically it is her own work!
