New project!

PhotobucketHere's my progress to date on two of my WIPs.  Sea Stars by Ink Circles is the one on the left.  The other one is a NEW WIP!  I know that I really shouldn't have started anything else, but in The World of Cross Stitch magazine they have a chart leaflet of four designs by one of my favourites - John Clayton.  I just had to start on this one - a glass vase with sunflowers, set against a window.  Best free gift ever for me personally - I'd like to get all four of them done eventually :)

Ozark Sampler bookmark completed!

Ozark Sampler bookmarkI'm taking part in a SAL on the Ozark Sampler group, stitching something each month using their thread. This is a bookmark adapted from a design by Marianaliza - should have another border, but the floche ran out! Love using floche - only need one strand to get normal two strand coverage :)

Wonderful fob giveaway!

My friend Debra has a wonderful giveaway on her blog - one of her very own fobs.  I loved it so much I bought one when I was looking, lol.

Here's the link..

Pink Flamingo!

Mill Hill Flamingo ornament
I just fancied doing something 'summery', and this flamingo fitted the bill!  I love doing Mill Hill, and this one was slightly 'different' with the legs added on at the end, not stitched.  It's finished as a fridge magnet, to cheer us up through these last days of winter.

A beautiful bookmark finish...

....and NOT by me, lol!

Teresa's finished Travellers' Tales bookmark

This one is my DD Teresa's first big finish - and it has taken her a year, but that's not as long as it's taken me to finish the one that I bought at the same time (Olympia last March). I'm so proud of her - she did it with practically no help - I did unpick a bit and restitched it when it went a little bit wrong at the end. I also helped her to do the beads on the 'V', and started her off sewing the ribbon on the back. But basically it is her own work!
