Quilt block finished!

A fairly fast finish for once :)  This is for Betty's quilt for her grand-daughter.  It went in the post today!  I have a phobia of butterflies, but coped fine with a stitched one - perhaps this is therapy?

Day out in Hastings by the sea :)

It was a lovely day today, so made a sudden decision to drive down to the coast with the kids - they wanted to go to an aquarium, and I wanted to put my feet in the sea - have I ever mentioned that I LOVE the sea, just LOVE it - have always wanted to live within sight of the ocean.  Grew up about one hundred miles from the nearest beach, now it's about forty miles - getting closer :)  This is a video of our day in Hastings - hadn't been for years, and I'm certain we'll be going back!
